Glyka nera ( sweet water ) it named in that way ,
because under that beach there is always drinkable water.
This an
extra advantage for those they go there for camping.
There are two ways to
get there:
1) Walking
about 45 min. from
Loutro village.
2) By boat
witch leaves Loutro village every morning at 10:55 to sweet
water and returns back to Loutro village at 16:45.
Sweetwater beach
I
A small world has gathered here on pebbles along the water that hesitantly flows along shores, this world
sails on a small red boat to a narrow spot under horrifying rocks people drink from the earth here
and their nature continually mingles silently with the sweet surprise from the earth.
Only the whispering Libyan desert wind creates a brief moment of confusion as in
shade less paradise bewildered naked people chase flying parasols and nothing ever changes unless we leave this life here for good.
Sweetwater beach II
Do not ask the mountains who live here do not ask them whom they chase from this Grecian paradise
of round, small pebbles. Modern first men on this sweet earth carefully store forbidden apples
out of fear: melon and grapes are secretly permitted but he who drinks rum these wells
Wishes to stay until he must leave.
So slowly do the short days pass in their ancient Grecian rhythm and on either side the eternal rocks, the
almost emerald sea guard the naked people rotating Like sunshades waiting for the muttering ship to arrive at
half past five.
